Very Disappointed I am very disappointed in the quality of my purchase. I called in my order for a "Personalized Garden Stone" and its a good thing that I placed my order by phone, rather than ordering it online - When it arrived there was a spelling error. If I had placed the order online, I was told, that I would have been held responsible for this error. To their credit, Personalization Mall offered a replacement order with a correction at no charge and when requested, they bumped up the delivery of the replacement by one service level, at no additional charge.
However, beyond the spelling mistake, the "stone" itself not clearly described and the quality of the product that I received was less than I anticipated. From the description provided, I believed this was a three dimensional object (a 360 degree resin facsimile of a stone) - it is not. It is merely the top-half of a "stone", with an open, hollow back - it is more like an inverted bowl, than a stone. It is a much less substantial item than it appears. In addition, upon reviewing the inscription, I fully expect that it will fade quickly and not last more than a year or two - this is not the quality of a gift that I wanted to present to commemorate a wedding.
Because it is personalized, I'm stuck with. So, I will be presenting this gift, with an apology to the recipients, for its compromised quality. I bought this item on sale and find it unfathomable that this items was actually being sold at the full price, without a more complete description provided.
The quality and what I believe was a purposefully poor description of the item, gives me pause to buy from Personalization Mall in the future. However, there are other items on their website, that seem less susceptible to what I found was a deceptive presentation, so I may be back, but will do so with more caution and suspicion regarding the quality of the actual product
