 State of Love This product makes me smile. It is great quality and beautifully designed. It is actually slate or a stone of similar texture which adds so much. This is something we will have in our home for many years to come.

Impressive This arrived very quickly and looks fantastic! Can not wait to hang it up outside of my house. My only concern and the reason why it’s not a 5 is that it is tied with a leather strap that I fear is not ideal for all the elements.

Just WoW I really loved the product. The size of the product, the color, the quality is just perfect in every way. My only concern is about the message letter font size, they were just little thin. The size of the letter is okay but it's too thin. You literally have to come near the slate to read the letters.

Love this, but... This is a great idea and I understand that the look is distressed, but it almost looks like part of the paint has rubbed off the 2 Ls in my name. Otherwise, I would have given this 5 stars.

Nice State Plaque I love the plaque! It is a heavy piece of slate, and has a nice leather strap for hanging it. I ordered the burgundy, and the color is perfect! I did not give it 5 stars, because the top line and bottom line are too light, and can only be read very close up. Would have loved it if the personalization for these two lines had been bolder!

Gift issue The people we bought this for loved the slate part of the gift but told us the rope used to hang it with broke within a second of hanging. We were really lucky that they held on to it, otherwise the whole item would have been a loss.

Porch sign Great quality. Nice lettering. A bit concerned if the leather strap is strong enough to hold it up. We will reinforce with wire.

Almost Perfect! I ordered the personalized slate plaque and I like it a lot but am just a wee bit disappointed. It's heavy with a long enough cord for where I wanted to hang it and I love the color (I got black) but unless you are very close to it, most of the wording is printed too light to read! Of course HOME and our names are very visible but the rest of the words are not because they use a different "accent" color. It would be perfect if someone walking by my house could read the whole thing!

Was shipped in good time I received this product in good time before Christmas but one of the corners was chipped when I opened it up. Hoping its not that noticeable by the people that I am giving it to.

However, I wish it was brighter as it is a bit difficult to read the top and last lines unless you are really close up. I was surprised at how heavy it is and am having trouble finding a hanger.

Heavy Plaque This is very nice! Heavy duty and well made. I'm not exceptionally happy with the printing though. The white is not solid lines and don't stand out like I would of liked better.

 Quality lackingBy Shopper (Troy, MI) - December 16, 2020 Received my personalized slate plaque today and was not happy with the quality of workmanship. The lettering in the preview of what I ordered is a bolder bright white which you can read in all the lines. This is what I received, the lettering in the first line and last line are very hard to read and have been painted in a very dull white lettering and in all it is not centered very well on the slate plaque. What happened to the quality of the products produced, and at this price you would expect better quality and use of the paint. This is definitely over priced.

Nice Plaque - poor personalization By Shopper (Vero Beach, FL) - October 10, 2016 I ordered two of same plaque/different names.
The painting done for the names is blotchy/smeared with dots of paint around/and or missing. Not sure if it is supposed to be this way to look rustic but it looks like poor quality instead.

Slate welcome plaque Very nice but the lettering could have been a little brighter when I opened box it smelled very musty had to put box outside immediately didn't help the smell had to replace the rawhide used to hang it smell was terrible would have sent it back but was a gift waiting to be given

 Disappointed Was disappointed that the lettering was not legible unless you were close. Many letters were missing white paint making it hard to see. The bottom line is so small you cannot see it from any distance greater than three feet.

Disappointing Regrettably, text was smudged and the fonts were very faint. Not the presentation I had hoped for nor the quality I have thus far enjoyed and have come to expect from PM.

unhappy with quality By Shopper (Britton, SD) - June 24, 2019 We were very unhappy with the quality of the item we ordered. The letters were smeared. The paint on the state and the word "home" were not done well and were filled with flecks. This was a gift which made it even more disappointing.
