 GoodI brought this as a shower gift. Everyone thought it was a great idea. The only comment was that the engraving could have been darker. It looks darker when you look at the pictures on the website than what actually comes.

Nice for a gift The time between ordering and receiving was super fast! Engraving was as entered and was correct, however, it does not show up on the cutting board as well as it does in the online pictures, so I was a little disappointed. Otherwise very happy with purchase.

Very Nice Cutting Board - but all initials aren't created equally I purchased this as a closing gift and appreciate the quality of the cutting board, but was disappointed with the layout of the large single initial - which apparently depends upon the initial used.
As the sample shows, the S is nicely centered over the Stevenson and other verbiage. I was using the initial "W" - it too is very scripted/italicized, but what is centered are the two lowest points of the letter, not the entire width of the letter. The end result is the initial looks like it’s too far to the right while the last name and other verbiage are nicely centered. After contacting customer service (who responded very quickly!) they said it was correct and if they were to remake it, the results would be the same. Looking at the proof, the initial seems a little to the right, but it's much more apparent in person. This may not be an issue with other letters (the S in the sample looks great) but pay close attention to the online proof to make sure it's to your liking.

Beautiful board but I love the way the board looks but it needs sanding. It’s rough in certain area that makes it feel cheap. I will sand it myself. Otherwise it’s good

Great board-font needs fixing I loved how the board turned out; however, the font for the inscription needs improvement. I had my friends names put on the board and they used SCRIPT font. Her name is Liz and the way it appeared looked like Lis. Not certain why they didn't use the Capital block letters. Would have looked much better

Light board Overall I do like it. The font is beautiful and the wood is sturdy and nice. My biggest disappointment is that the engraving is lighter than it appears on the website or even the attached photo. It’s not bold and doesn’t pop to the eyes. The “ink” is faint. 3.5 stars

Beautiful but...one small mistake By Shopper (Jacksonville, FL) - July 27, 2022 I bought this as a closing gift for my buyers. It arrived five days before the closing but I was out of town. I opened the box today; which is one day before the closing. The cutting board was bigger and heavier than expected. It was a little rough around the edges. Could have been sanded down more; afraid of splinters. But upon closer inspection, there was too much ink or oil (filler) between two of the letters. It stained the board. Unfortunately, I have to give it to my buyers as is and wait on the replacement. Customer service was friendly and accommodating.

Wood split By Shopper (Brooklyn, NY) - November 1, 2021 Overall the look and personalization made it a great gift. I gave as gifts to both my children. After several uses the wood slats began to show some splits. The board is still useable as it didn't split completely.

Personalized Cutting Board The quality & size of cutting board was just as expected, very high quality. I love the personalization of the name. I wish the custom wording under the name was in a larger font, it's difficult to see, unless you are very close. It didn't seem in proportion with the name. In my opinion there was enough room to make it larger and would have made it perfect.

Wasn’t exactly what I thought it was going to be. The order came in quickly, which was nice. It is pretty, but for the money, it looked a little cheap. It was also very hard to read the writing. I thought the lettering would be a little darker.

had to replace The first cutting board that was received had very rough edges along the sides. Called and the company did a replacement. This one is fine except the writing on the board was much lighter in color than it should have been. I will definitely order again for someone else but I will call on the telephone to make sure the lettering is dark like it should be.

A bit disappointed I love how sturdy this cutting board is, and the wood is beautiful. My disappointment comes because of the engraving. I expected the wording to be lasered on, but what you actually get is a precision carving of all the letters, which creates an uneven surface. Also the lettering doesn't stand out against the wood because the letters are only carved out. For an expensive item, I would have liked to had some nicer looking personalization.

Not as nice as shown The monogram letter is very light in color also in depth. The personalized message is hard to read with the font that is used. If I had seen it in person, would have order a different one.

Personalized Cutting Board The item was received in a timely manner. It was nicely done. I do wish the engraving would have been more bold as the grain of wood was darker and kind of drowned out the engraving. There were also some spots that weren't sanded well in the groves of the board and needed sanded because it was splintering.

Not nearly as dark as the picture shown Not very happy. I bought this as a wedding gift and the writing is not dark at all!!!! Blends in too well with wood. Looks very cheap compared to others out there.

Typically smooth when I get them at stores. It will need a little love before i can give as a gift. For the cost it should have been better quality.

Beautiful but not durable — display only By Shopper (Sandy Hook, CT) - July 31, 2021 I ordered this as a client gift. The personalization is great, the size is as advertised. However, the wood has no protective coating at all, so when something wet was set on it, it left a mark that appears to be permanent. Very disappointed.

Cutting board tray By Shopper (Arlington, TX) - March 17, 2018 Was very disappointed in the three trays I recieved. The color of the etched wood was very light . It is hard to read monogramming on the wood tray . I was told the darker color of the wood comes through when etched and nothing could be done . No return on products . Again , very disappointed. I have one that was a wedding gift last year and I love it, monogramming is darker than the tray wood and very easy to read .

Wood quality was not as nice as ones I have ordered from this site. Wood had spots all over it and a knot in the top corner. Nothing like I have come to expect in the past. I was really disappointed in this one. :(

Engraving is barely Noticeable By Shopper (La Habra, CA) - January 3, 2018 The engraving is so light that it is barely noticeable that there is any engraving at all. There was no choice of font so you get what they give you and the font used was not appropriate for our engraving message as the letters are not easy to read or understand (kind of like italicized old English font). Not happy with product.

Bad font Was not satisfied with the font on the smaller writing. Emailed to comaplian but was told that the preview was the same. It probably was but was so small it was hard to tell that the & sign would be so so different. Won't give this as gift .... very disappointed.

Many defects in wood! I am honestly quite surprised that personalization mall would use wood with so many defects! My product looked horrible because of all the natural defects in the wood. I appreciate nature but when engraving wood it should be without all the defects. Very disappointed.

Personalization The cutting board was beautiful but I had my own personaliation put on it and it is completely inlegible. This is a Christmas gift for a family friend and I have shown a few people hoping some will be able to make out the quote but none have.
