I purchased this cutting board for my Son & Daughter-n-Law. My only recommendation is, the engraving needs to be done differently. It is very light and hard to see. Otherwise, the cutting board is beautiful and the quality is remarkable.

Beautiful wood. Engraving and item are extremely large. I am hopeful the bride and groom will have room to store it if not using it for display. It is very heavy. Engraving seemed a little light in color. I’d say it’s a little pricey but nice.
Heavy and great quality board! The only thing I would improve is the depth of the engraving. Looks more like a monogram than engraving. I would prefer it be a little deeper.
Purchased for my son and his fiancée. They loved it! Made a great impression at the shower. Personalization was right on. The quality of the wood was fantastic. I couldn't believe how heavy the actual product was. The only thing I was slightly disappointed in was one of the wooden foot blocks fell off. We secured with wood glue. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.
I was very disappointed to turn the board over and see that it was engraved in large letters "Personalization Mall" on the back. It cheapens what was otherwise a very high quality, classy gift for a business client. Instead of the gift being all about the client, now it is additionally an advertisement sent to the client. I would rather spend a little more $ for a truly personalized item, not an expensive piece of advertising for the maker.
This is a very beautiful cutting board. The listing is a little misleading though. I received this as a gift and loved it so much that I ordered one for a friend! When I received the new one it didn't have feet, but instead four little pads. I contacted customer support, and while they were prompt to get back to me, I was told they would not correct the issue as it was made correctly. Disappointed it doesn't match the picture with wooden feet. I guess they decide which kind of feet to give you.
The personalization was extremely light. It could barely be seen on the board. The board itself was very nice but I was very disappointed that the wording was not dark like in the picture.
Product quality has changed

I have ordered many of these cutting boards for wedding gifts. I will say customer service replaced two of the boards.. that had wood flaws right on the main initial, and they were very quick about the replacement order. So 5 stars for excellent customer service wanting customer satisfaction. When the replacement boards came in one had letter that was very light... almost faded.. it did not stand out like the boards in the past.... and the other replacement board... had the darker lettering and look like most of the boards I have ordered. They need to make sure the letter is dark enough to see... Overall this product was a 5 star.. but these last few I ordered some of the lettering was very faint.
I've ordered this butcher block a few times now. My last order was received in June 2020. It was a lighter shade than expected and duller. It had less of a finished look than boards I've ordered in the past. One other change was that this board had a big "Personalization Mall" logo on the back which was bigger than the personalization on the front of the board. In the past, there wasn't a logo on the back, which I preferred.
Great looking product and very heavy/solidly made. Problem is that after the first use, I washed it (in the sink with just soap and water) and upon drying, the board warped and cracked. I informed personalization.com and the customer service was excellent. They immediately sent me a replacement and told me that I had to heavily oil the product. I have since oiled the replacement (which I have had for a week) and so far so good. I hope that this solution works because the board looks great.
I purchased this butcher board as a christmas gift along with oil and cheese and meat platter. I am a little unhappy that the cheese and oil were delivered several days ago and the butcher block is being shipped now. They opened the oil wondering what they are suppose to do with it. Afraid the butcher block isnt going to be much of a suprise.
This board is truly beautiful and personalization was perfectly done. Unfortunately it’s not functional. Hand washed once and upon drying it was warped and started to crack. The replacement product did the same. Per the product description on website it has to be oiled after every use. Per the wood oil purchased from Personalization Mall product had to be washed before first application of oil. Unfortunately the product warps before oil can be applied per instructions.
